Dr. Rebekah Louisa Smith - the Film Festival Doctor (United Kingdom)

Doctor Rebekah Louisa Smith began her film industry career in 2008, working asone of the producers of Wales’ most successful national horror film festivals, the Abertoir Horror Festival, which is part of the prestigious European Fantastic Film Festivals Federation. During that time, her company The Film Festival Doctor, was created. Rebekah and her hard working team are creators of success and are committed to nurturing filmmakers in order to help them secure visibility, awards, opportunities and recognition within the film industry. Currently her company has won over 450 awards for their clients and her team has supported over 585 creatives across the world , enlightening and inspiring their journey towards achieving their goals and following their dreams.

John LaBonney - Festival Director, Dam Short Film Festival (Boulder City, NV)

John LaBonney is an award-winning filmmaker and has a B.S. in Broadcasting and Film from Boston University. His work has appeared on television in North and South America and his film Barn Dance was an Official Selection at The Dam Short Film Festival in 2009. John was appointed Director of the Festival in 2011, and oversees all festival operations.

Eva Louis – President, Chronic Behavior, LLC (Phoenix, AZ)

Eva Louis is a producer, writer and actor known for her work in the local film community with several short films, feature films as well as projects that are planned for release in 2018. She has specialized in social media, marketing and promotions of artists and individuals in film, fashion, arts, music, and entertainment. Eva works with several film festival systems as well as entertainment platforms with evolving connections in the industry nationwide.

Nicholas Gyeney – Filmmaker, Director: “Ultra Low” (Seattle, WA)

“For an independent filmmaker, getting into quality film festivals can mean everything. They can make careers almost overnight, and turn struggling artists into the next big thing”, according to NicholasGyeney, an established filmmaker and graduate of USC’s FilmSchool. He understands the struggle of filmmakers as they work towards this goal, and it is the basis for the story that he tells in hislatest film “Ultra Low”, an official film selection of LIFF 2018.
